- Adverting to previous correspondence
- regarding the proposed scheme of
- water supply for Springwood, I have
- now to inform you that a survey has
- been made and an estimate prepared
- for supplying Springwood with water
- The present population of Spring-
- In view of the numerous visitors in
- the summer, provision has been made
- for a population of 3000. The source
- of supply would be a storage reservoir
- formed by the construction of a dam
- in Linden Creek, at a point about 2½
- miles distant, in a direct line from
- Springwood Railway Station. The
