On Wednesday afternoon a very
nice little wedding ceremony . took
plaoe in St Peter's Charob of England
here, the Rev B 0 Robison officiating.
The oontraoting parties were Mr T
Haynea and Miss Harris, of Wee
Waa. This being the first wedding

taken in the proceedings. The little
church was nicely decorated with
ferns, flowers, etc, by various young
ladies, and nearly everyone in the
village attended. The church was
crowded, but everything passed off as
merry as the proverbial marriage bell.
Mr and Mrs Haynes left by the 7 45
p.m. train for the city, amid showers
of oonfetti, eto, and the best wishes
for their future welfare and happiness
of the many friendswho oame to see
them off.
Quite a boom in the building trade
is going on here jnst now, and a
number of new oottages are to be
built in the near future ; also, a hotel,
the conditional licence for whioh was
granted last month.
The weather remains dry, and we
have bud no rain since tho big wash
away. A good fall is now maoh
needed,
Thn work of repairing the line was
finished luat, Saturday, and the men
left for Sydney.
