Mill situated in gully at end of Highland Road, Faulconbridge and beside Linden Creek. Land was purchased by Henry Joyce in 1909. The steam-driven mill was built in 1913-14, the equipment being taken down and 900m long tramway, which had hardwood rails. A steam engine at the top hauled the loads up. The last operator of the mill was Hardwoods Ltd., Parramatta. In 1928 the land was resumed and became the Faulconbridge Park and later became part of the Blue Mountains National Park. The photograph shows all that remained of the mill in 1990 (The boiler).
