CRASH
TWO INQUIRIES
TO BE HELD
SYDNEY, Wednesday.
The crash in which five mem
bers of the R.A.A.F. were killed
at Glenbrook late yesterday af
ternoon will be investigated at
two independent departmental
inquiries, it was stated by Air
Force authorities to-day.
'I'HE cause of the crash would be
* fully investigated by a court of
inquiry, constituted by tlie Central
Area Headquarters of the Air Force.
In addition, an inquiry would be
made by the Inspectorate of Aircraft
Accidents, a branch of a.A.A.P. head
quarters In Melbourne
This inquiry, it was stated, would be
made by Group-Captain Murphy, who
lelt Laverton in an Air Force plane
early this morning..
His inquiries would Include a visit
to the scene of the crash. Neither of
the inquiries, it was stated to-day,

Squadron-Leader James R. M. Rain
bow. 42. of Double Bay. was a well
known Sydney psychiatrist. For nine
years he was associated witli tlie De
partment of Mental Hospitals, which
he Joined in 1928.
Air Crash Causes
MELBOURNE, Wednesday.
