By 1987 A4-23 frame had been acquired by Foss aviation museum project and was stored in a building at West Croydon, Adelaide. The project was disbanded in 1987.

Towed from Port Pirie backwards on its main wheels with tail wheel attached to a truck tray. By 1966 fuselage was standing on its main wheels with wooden wings on the ground nearby. May 1966 Mr Hawker allowed removal of nose with windscreen by West Beach Aviation Group and this was stored in Adelaide. Nose and windscreen to Warbirds Aviation Museum, Mildura, Vic, 1968. Later sections of fuselage were salvaged by John Boden of Salisbury, Adelaide. Used to build up a complete fuselage by his son and in 2014 was undergoing static restoration as A4-37 at Lewiston, SA.
