BIG REQUESTS.
The late James Wesley Hall, who died recently
at Oma, Boundary-street, Toorak, Victoria,
appointed as trustees under his will
AAfalter Russell Hall and Kelso King (of Syd
ney),' and Arthur Frederick Hooper (of
Toorak). To each of these he bequeathed
£1000 free from duty, in addition to Avhich
they have commission at 2 % per cent. Testa
tor made these trustees, together Avlth Mar-
garet Kate Lilian Hall, his widow, guardians
of his children under age. To his AvldOAV he
bequeathed all articles of personal and do
mestic use or ornament, Avith a legacy . of
£10,000, and an annuity of £2000 free from
the control or disposition of any husband.
To Louisa Sarah, avWoav of his brother, Al
bert Henry Hall, of Fortished, Somerset
England, £2000; to Alfred Cadoll of Emma-
ville, In the New England district, all testa
tor's share and interest in various mines and!
mining properties In the Grafton and Netvi
England districts, together with appurten
ances and machinery. To each of his sisters-
in-law, Georgia Frances Mary Dempster,
Maria Huoft Dempster, and Fanny Madeline
Elma, Avife of A. F. Hooper, 1000 shares each!
in the Mount Morgan Gold-mining Co. : To
Thomas Carleton Skarratt, testator's cousin,
a legacy of £500; to George Anderson Rich
ard, of Mount Morgan,. £2000; and to Thomas
Cornea, of Mount Morgan, £500. Testator!
left to his uncle, Thomas Carleton Skarratt,
of Kingston, Hereford, England, an annuity)
of £200. Out of the residuary estate the
trustees are to pay testator's widow any!

ance, the trustees to have power to increase!

In the event of the death of any of the chil
dren, the issue of such children, if only one,
to succeed in substitution; if more than one,
to take equal shares of their parent's share'.

Carleton, Summer Hill, Sydney, Avho died re
cently in London, appointed, . as trustees, hid
Avidotv, Mary Ellen Skarratt. his son-in-law,
Thos. Hy. Keigwin, AValter Russell Hall, and!
Kelso King. To his Avidow he bequeathed
£3000 for her Immediate use; and to Thos. Hy,
Keigwin and Kelso King, if they accept the
trusteeship, £500 each, free from duty, andi
