ceaseu s widow, Eliza Rowuen Hall, is ap
pointed the residuary legatee, and succeeds to
tlie whole of her husband's property after the
oequosis In the will and codicils have been
discnurged.
The testator ordered tho following legacies to

George Marshall Klrlt, of Albion, Brisbano,
£500o; to each of the daughters of his lute

Donald Skarratt,' soii of William Carlton Skar

liam Carlton Skarratt, £3000; to Mrs. Ward,
daughter of his uncle, Thomas c. Skarratt,
£4000; to Harry S. Brolhwood, of Leichhardt,
chemist, £4000; to each, of his uncles, Charles
Carlton Skarrutt and Thomas Carlton Skarratt,
£1000'; to Miss Frances Wippell and G. W.
Ellison, of Melbourne, relatives of his widow,

sum as would equal three months' wages for
every year thoy had respectively boon In his
employ; to his trustees, all tho principal and
interest of thu moneys owing or accruing duo
lo him on mortgages for tho sum of £4000 on
properties known as Oldorfleet and Realto, Col
lins-street, Melbourne, and also on a mortgago
for tlie sum of £20;060 on 100 acres of land near
Glen Iris-road, hear Melbourne, with a direc
tion that tho trustees settlo the moneys or
properties comprised in the mortgages upon
tho same, or similar trusts in favor ot tho
wife and childron of his brother, Thomas Skar
ratt Hall, as they would settlo tho before-
mentioned sum of £40,000; to William Cbands
Hall, cortain property at Wcntworth Falls;
and to George Marshall Kirk, a residence at
Albion, Brisbano.
Tho first codicil of the will bequeaths all
the real and personal estate to which testator
is entitled In Queensland to his wlfo absolutely;
and In tho second codicil a second bequest ot
£30,000 Is mado to. the trustcos on trust; to bo
used for such, lawful cliaritablo uses In tho
State of Queensland ns they may think fit.
There Is also a boquost of £1000 to his butler,
William Shepherd, In addition to the amount to
urhich he becomes entitled under the will.
